Start a Team!

Are you a parent interested in working with children to solve scientific challenges? Do you like inspiring
students to reach their potential? Is your dream to be a mentor, coach, and role model? Do you like
FIRST and want to be part of its mission to spread STEM? If you’ve answered yes to any of these
questions, then you should become a coach or recruit a teacher to start a team!

First, decide on the level you want to work with. FIRST has 4 main programs to inspire students – the Jr.
FIRST LEGO League, FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Competition – each of
which working to develop future innovators.
